1. **Connect** — Paste an API key or sign in with the vendor. Most take under two minutes, and no consultant is involved.
2. **WIZE reads your file, securely** — Your donors, gifts and campaigns come across into a closed environment that only your team can see. WIZE reads. It does not change anything in your CRM, and it never will without your approval.
3. **Work from up-to-date, comprehensive information** — Ask for an appeal, a donor brief, a segment or a board report and it is built on the most up-to-date and accurate data you have.

## Your donor data is not training anybody's AI

Connecting your CRM means handing an AI tool your donor file. You should know exactly what happens to it, so here it is in plain terms.

- **No model is trained on your data** — Every request WIZE sends to an AI model carries an instruction not to retain it and not to train on it, and the providers we use are on enterprise tiers whose terms say the same. This is contractual, not optional.
- **A closed environment** — Your connected data lives in your organisation's own space in WIZE. It is never pooled with other organisations.
- **Nothing changes without your approval** — WIZE reads. It does not edit, create or delete anything in your CRM, and it never will without your approval. Notes and follow-ups you ask it to keep are saved in WIZE.
- **You can disconnect at any time** — Disconnecting stops the sync immediately. No support ticket, no notice period.

### What tools does WIZE integrate with?

WIZE connects to 24 tools: 18 fundraising CRMs and donation platforms including Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce, Givebutter, Virtuous, Little Green Light, Zeffy, Donorbox and GiveCampus, plus Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook, Monday.com, Asana, Mailchimp and Airtable. If yours is not here, we will build it within 30 days.

### Is my donor data safe?

Yes. Your connected data lives in your organisation's own closed environment in WIZE. It is not pooled with other organisations, it is not used to improve anything outside your account, and no AI model is trained on it.

### Do the AI models train on our data?

No. Every request WIZE sends to an AI model carries an instruction not to retain it and not to train on it, and the providers we use are on paid tiers whose terms prohibit training on customer data. That is a contractual commitment and the main difference between connecting your CRM to WIZE and pasting donor information into a general-purpose chatbot.

### Is the connection secure?

Connections use each vendor's own authentication, either an API key you generate or a sign-in you approve, and the credentials are encrypted. WIZE requests the minimum access it needs, which today is read access. You can disconnect at any time from your settings.

### Does WIZE change anything in my CRM?

No. Every CRM connection reads only, so WIZE never edits, creates or deletes a record, and anything you ask it to remember is saved in WIZE. Write-back is something fundraisers ask us for, and if we build it the principles are already set: off by default, on only if you switch it on, limited to what you allow it to touch, and never silent.

### Why connect my tools instead of just using ChatGPT?

A general chatbot knows nothing about your donors, so everything it writes is either generic or based on what you had time to paste in, and what you paste may be used to train the model. WIZE reads your actual file, works from real giving history, and is contractually barred from training on any of it. That is the difference between an assistant that sounds plausible and one that is right about your donors.

### How is WIZE different from other AI tools for nonprofits?

Three things. We connect to more of the tools nonprofits actually run than any AI assistant we know of, and we will build yours in 30 days if it is missing. No model is ever trained on your data. And integrations and migrations are included in your plan rather than sold for additional fees.

### Do integrations cost extra?

No. Every integration is included on Starter, our $8 a month plan, with one exception: Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is a premium connector and needs Plus. There are no integration fees and no setup charges on any plan.
